CHAPTER 8: Reality

So this is how it is for Meros at home.  His mother doesn't even suspect he's homosexual, and she keeps pulling stupid "jokes" on gay people.  Like so many people around me...  like my own mom.  Making fun of how "gay" people look or act.  I hate that with a passion.  Can't she/they just leave them alone!?  *sigh*

Just to make it clear: chapter 8 is taking place a few days after chapter 7.  I know it isn't mentionned anywhere, but...  well, time still passes by even though there are no comic pages to show it :P  So...  As i imagine it, Thanat and Meros kissed on a Thirsday or a Friday, and chapter 8 is taking place on Thuesday or Wednesday of the next week.  Yep~  That way, Joan had time to spread her "false" rumour, and Meros had more than enough time to worry lots and lots about the fact that he kissed his teacher. Haha.   

And Joan REALLY is just passing by when the principal yells at Thanat.  She absolutely didn't tell the rumour to Nokil herself ^^;;  She didn't want her to know: she just spread the rumour without thinking too much, she just wanted to embarass Meros.  Impulsive like she is, she didn't realize that it would hurt Thanat too...  That's Joan alright.  And about Thanat's threat...  He was pissed, so he threathened her of the first thing he thought about, but he knows flunking Joan wouldn't be possible without a lot of trouble ^^;;  Joan sure believed him though...  lol  

I coloured some pages, did you notice?  :P  It was to celebrate the 50 000+ hits on LF!!  And I had seriously planned to continue colouring the pages for... always, but I decided to come back to black and white pages after all.   The coloured pages didn't look very good, and it added a few extra hours of work per page, and it really felt like a burden: I didn't enjoy colouring the pages at all.  So b&w forever baby~  I still need a whole lot of practice on my b&w shading in order ot make it perfect anway!  

Did any of you notice the name of the girl who was babling about the "false rumour" with her friends on her way to college?  Jedadiah, that's right.  It's a name of a girl who signed my guestbook last summer, and asked me to give her name to a character in SM...  ^^;;;;;  Now please, don't ask me to use your name too: I won't do it!  It was the first time that I was asked for something like this, and I thought that it was really cute of her to ask even though we weren't even friends...  I didn't want to do it at first: I really don't plan to add that many more charcters in the story, you know...  But she really asked it nicely, and she seemed so enthusiastic...  So I gave her name to a character who wasn't even supposed to have a name in the first place x_x;;  I hope you're still reading the comic Jedadiah??  ^^;;
