CHAPTER 14: The Cross

This is another chapter I’m not too proud of...  just trying to get the plot going >_<

Coming up with an explanation as how to Thanat could be a teacher at 23 years young was a challenge... I made up an explanation and I have absolutely no actual basis, it works that way in SM and that’s all I can say about that XP  But between you and me...  This is what happens when you don’t have a script.  At the very beginning, I drew a pilot.  The first 5 pages are completely improvised.  I had no clear story/plot in mind.  Thanat was supposed to be a student at first.  But when I drew him with a suit and a suitcase, I thought “hey, he looks like a teacher, let’s make him a teacher!”  but I didn’t want him to be so old that dating a student would be gross...  so I randomly picked 23 years old for his age.  That’s the explanation behind that!  ROFL!!!

Back to the actual plot...  Nokil has no idea what the real reason is behind Thanat quitting his job.  He told her something like “I don’t like this job, I quit”.  That’s why she insists so much for Thanat to reconsider.

Here’s a big hole in the story though: Meros had to lie to Nokil and say he went to another college...  Now he’ll have to look out for Nokil and hide from her for the rest of his collegial years XD  Luckily for Meros, he’s not a trouble maker or outstandingly good academically speaking, so he doesn’t really get noticed.  But I wonder what’s gonna happen when he graduates and that Nokil has to sign his diploma/give him his diploma...  Will she make the connections?!?  Luckily for me (very light spoiler ahead), SM ends before that happens, so I don’t have to deal with it at all, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
